This is Me Since Yesterday is a Scottish colloquialism, a greeting often exchanged between acquaintances. Taken literally it is expression of a ‘lack of progress made’ since they had last met, but is just as effective when used as a conversation starter between strangers, waiting. An expression of ‘lack of progress’ seems particularly poignant at this time when all of us are waiting, together, for a change.
These works look to start a conversation between the viewer and the landscape.
New relationships are synthesised from both constructed and discovered materials and consequences. This new collection - in a variety of media - are composed on the Mornington Peninsula but infused with a Celtic affability.
